INTRODUCTION

The ADNOC Ruwais LNG Project is a two train, near net-zero electrically driven LNG facility, targeting international markets. The feed gas for the project is supplied from the Habshan Gas Processing Plant via a new export gas pipeline. The plant will have two 4.8 MTPA (nominal capacity) electric driven LNG Trains with associated LNG storage/marine export facilities and utilities.

Figure 1 – Project Context

The ADNOC Ruwais LNG Project foresees the following main components at the facility:

(cid:120) Onshore LNG Liquefaction facilities for 2 x 4.8 MTPA electrically driven LNG Trains (9.6MTPA total)

(cid:120) Common facilities including inlet receiving facilities, LNG storage, BOG handling, flare, refrigerant

storage and support buildings.

(cid:120) Utilities to support the facilities including import power from the national grid.

(cid:120) Marine facilities for LNG export and bunkering.

1.1

Purpose

This specification amends ADNOC General Engineering Specification AGES-SP-02-020 which is attached hereto in Appendix 1 and shall take precedence over the requirements of AGES-SP-02-020 for the ADNOC Ruwais LNG Project.

Section 2, 3 , 4 & 5 of this document identifies the amendments to the General Engineering Specification included in Appendix 1.

GENERAL

Purpose

The purpose of this specification is to specify the requirements of the design, performance, materials, manufacturing, inspection, testing, documentation and preparation for shipment of ‘factory-built assemblies’ of low voltage lighting and small power distribution boards rated for voltages up to 440V.

Scope

This specification applies to ‘factory-built assembly’ metal-enclosed low voltage lighting and small power distribution boards for ac voltages up to 440V that shall be operated and maintained by authorized personnel. The standard voltages used by ADNOC for LV lighting and small power distribution are 240V and 415V AC at 50Hz though ratings as applied in clause 7.1.2 will also apply as per project requirements (single and three Phase respectively). For project and site-specific additional requirements, refer to supplementary requirements stated in respective project’s Purchase Requisition documentation.
