1.1

INTRODUCTION

Project Objective and Location

The ADNOC Ruwais LNG Project is a two train, near net-zero electrically driven LNG facility, targeting international markets. The feed gas for the project is supplied from the Habshan Gas Processing Plant via a new export gas pipeline. The plant will have two 4.8 MTPA (nominal capacity) electric driven LNG Trains with associated LNG storage/marine export facilities and utilities.

The ADNOC Ruwais LNG Project foresees the following main components at the facility:

• Onshore LNG Liquefaction facilities for 2 x 4.8 MTPA electrically driven LNG Trains (9.6MTPA

total)

• Common facilities including inlet receiving facilities, LNG storage, BOG handling, flare, refrigerant

storage and support buildings.

• Utilities to support the facilities including import power from the national grid.

• Marine facilities for LNG export and bunkering.

2.0

SCOPE & PURPOSE

This procedure is applicable for the final Vendor’s Documentation required by CONTRACTOR.

This procedure concerns the Manufacturing Data Record Books (MDRB) and Operational & Maintenance Manual (OMM) to be delivered to CONTRACTOR and COMPANY for ADNOC Ruwais LNG Project.

The purpose of this procedure is to outline the requirements to be observed by the Vendor for the supply of the Manufacturing Data Record Book (MDRB) and Operational & Maintenance Manual (OMM) listed on the Requisition.

The required documentation is an integral part of the supply, and its omission shall be considered as a non-fulfilment of the Purchase Order.

This document shall be read in conjunction with the following document:

Any conflict among the 2 documents shall be reported to CONTRACTOR for resolution.

LANGUAGE AND UNITS

All Electronic Data Books shall be in ENGLISH. Any certificate in native language shall be made technical translation in English.

HARD COPY

7.1

Document Size

Documents in original size A4 must be printed in A4 and A3 must be printed in A3, black and white and 2 sided prints. Drawings A2, A1 and A0 should be used selectively. All P&IDs, GA drawings shall be printed in A3, black & white and all dimensions, details shall be legible when prints are taken. If documents are not legible in A3, they must be printed in their original size, folded correctly and inserted into A4 sized transparent plastic pockets with the title block visible (one document in a transparent plastic pocket). The documents or drawings can be printed in colour if they have the specific markup or indications which needs to be required for understanding.

Hard copies of all handover documentation must be on International standard sizing listed below shall be applied:

• A4 - 210 X 297 mm

• A3 ‒ 297 X 420 mm

• A2 - 420 X 594 mm

• A1 - 594 X 841 mm

• A0 - 841 X 1189 mm

7.2

Printing Material

All documentation presented as printed material shall utilize paper of suitable quality for long term storage (minimum acceptable quality of paper: 80g/sq. m). All documentation shall be of a suitable quality to provide clear and legible reproduced copies.

7.3

Description of Binders and Presentations

The MDRB and OMM shall consist of one or several binders.

Vendor shall use white PVC Fixed Post Binders with Rigid Covers for all volumes (Refer Appendix – 3). These shall be of a size to readily accommodate A4 size documentation. 4 rings binders shall be used. Binders shall have fixed transparent plastic pockets on their outside front and spine (Side of the Binder) into which cover sheets and spine sheets (printed in colour) shall be inserted.

VENDOR shall submit the draft binder spines and covers sheets to CONTRACTOR for review and approval prior to commencement of compilation.

External Coversheet (for each volume) Refer to Appendix – 1

It shall be inserted on the front side and spine (Side of the Binder) of the binders and shall include the following information:

Partitions

Each volume shall have durable plastic dividers for sections and subsections.

Each main chapter and its different sub-chapters shall be preceded by a presentation page containing the title of the concerned chapter/sub-chapter. For “Not Applicable” chapters, the mention N/A shall appear in the Presentation Page.

7.7

MDRB & OMM Master

The MDRB and OMM masters shall be started as soon as possible and ready when the first vendor documents are issued for CONTRACTOR review or information.

When a document is stamped “CODE 3” or accepted “For information” to CONTRACTOR it will be immediately put in place in the MDRB and OMM master.

The MDRB and OMM Masters are to be assembled and maintained throughout the work and can be shown to the CONTRACTOR inspector/representative at every inspection time, whenever required.

8.0

ELECTRONIC COPY

8.1

Document Format

Documents shall be submitted both in Native and PDF Files. PDF shall be formatted in Adobe 8 Version & above, refer to “RLNG-000-PM-SP-2302, Instructions Concerning Vendor Document Management and Review”. As much as possible, PDF format documents shall be ORC (Optimal Character Recognition) ready. Comment Track Changes shall not appear in the Final Revision. Documents are to be listed in the index with hyperlinks.

PROCEDURE FOR REVIEW / COMMENTS

The Procedure for review / comments of Manufacturing Data Record Books and Operational & Maintenance Manuals are as follows:

• Vendor forwards MDRB, OMM Indexes to CONTRACTOR for review and comments

before preparation of soft copy of the documents.

•

Indexes are reviewed by CONTRACTOR and approved. Once the Indexes are approved, Vendor is electronically notified.

• Vendor sends MDRB & OMM to CONTRACTOR for review and comments.

• CONTRACTOR then sends it back with comments to the Vendor.

If a subsequent updating is necessary, it will be at Vendor care to revise the MDRB and OMM indexes and send the updated one together with the revised drawings.

MDRB including “as fabricated” and OMM “For Review” (IFR)” shall be received in CONTRACTOR within the dates specified in the Requisition.

11.0

PROCEDURE FOR DISTRIBUTION AND FINAL DISPATCH

11.1 General

Vendor shall supply MDRB and OMM per equipment and it will consist of one or several binders.

Vendor shall supply both hard and electronic copies of MDRB and OMM per equipment. In particular, even if equipment is duplicated A / B / C etc., documentation will have to be duplicated and dedicated to each items A / B / C etc., and Final documentation has to be delivered for each item A / B / C etc.,

11.2 Hard and Electronic Copy Transmission

Vendor shall be required to distribute MDRB and OMM to the various recipients. The number of copies to be forwarded and the address of each recipient are mentioned in Section 9.

Upon dispatch, Vendor shall forward a copy of the transmittals to CONTRACTOR as well as evidence of the shipment vouchers (parcel delivery company certificate…).
