INTRODUCTION
The ADNOC Ruwais LNG Project is a two train, near net-zero electrically driven LNG facility, targeting international markets. The feed gas for the project is supplied from the Habshan Gas Processing Plant via a new export gas pipeline. The plant will have two 4.8 MTPA (nominal capacity) electric driven LNG Trains with associated LNG storage/marine export facilities and utilities.
Figure 1 – Project Context
The ADNOC Ruwais LNG Project foresees the following main components at the facility:
Onshore LNG Liquefaction facilities for 2 x 4.8 MTPA electrically driven LNG Trains (9.6MTPA
total)
Common facilities including inlet receiving facilities, LNG storage, BOG handling, flare,
refrigerant storage and support buildings.
Utilities to support the facilities including import power from the national grid.
Marine facilities for LNG export and bunkering.

Equipment and Component Numbering Procedure”, TE-PR-063 Numbering of Engineering Drawings Procedure, whenever applicable, i.e.:
Item is included in the 3D Model, as required above.
CONTRACTOR does not request VENDOR to provide conception / construction level of details in VENDOR 3D Model which has no added value for CONTRACTOR engineering, i.e.:
Internals details of equipment
Construction details such as bolting, gasket, chamfers, springs, etc…
Should VENDOR for his internal work process need to model high level of details, CONTRACTOR requests VENDOR to provide a cleaned-up and customized VENDOR 3D model version without high level of construction details, and for any submission of VENDOR 3D model to CONTRACTOR.
3.0
DELIVERY AND FORMAT REQUIREMENTS
3.1
VENDOR 3D model delivery schedule
VENDOR will have to provide VENDOR 3D Model file for merging into CONTRACTOR 3D Model.
VENDOR 3D Model shall be provided at same time of each revision of General Arrangement drawing (3D Model doc code to be created), in line with Document and Drawing Supply implemented in Scope of Supply Part II of Material Requisition.
4.0
VENDOR 3D MODEL FORMAT AND SETTINGS REQUIREMENTS
For each revision of the VENDOR 3D Model, the native format, a Navisworks 2023 format (.nwd) and IFC shall be provided.
VENDOR is responsible to ensure full conformity and quality checking between VENDOR 3D Model and GAD / Drawings under VENDOR responsibility.
The VENDOR 3D Model will be imported in CONTRACTOR 3D Model. The software used by CONTRACTOR is Hexagon Smart 3D (S3D 13.1).
For that purpose, CONTRACTOR will only accept from VENDOR file formats defined in paragraph 5 “Import from Third Parties Software”.
The VENDOR 3D Model shall follow the coordinate system of CONTRACTOR 3D Model. North is Y direction, West is X direction, and Up is Z direction.
The datum point of VENDOR 3D Model shall be same as datum point where specified in GAD/Drawing. If GAD/Drawing does not specify datum point, the datum point of VENDOR 3D Model shall be the north/west corner on package skid.
The datum point of VENDOR 3D Model shall follow the overall plot plan coordination system.
The terms of Contract / Agreement No: CON22-146 shall apply for any disclosure of this document to any third party.

IMPORT FROM THIRD PARTIES SOFTWARE
The following 3D file formats are accepted for VENDOR 3D Model: The order of preferences for 3D Extensions that VENDOR shall provide for their model is the following (VENDOR shall propose the preferred file format for CONTRACTOR’s approval):
IFC and NWD (Navisworks)
If some tools do not support exporting to IFC, vendor can use third tools like Navisworks “Codemill IFC Exporter” API to export to IFC with the same LOI of the source tool or other, or other applications can export in IFC format.
If VENDOR intends to use another 3D Model format, this shall be formally agreed and validated by CONTRACTOR.
It shall be noted that the revision of the files provided by VENDOR will be managed automatically by Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
Note: Each Operating Center (OC) will be responsible for managing their respective Vendor models with the rules define by the Host.
5.1
Level of Detail and Information (LOD/LOI)
The level of detail should be the simplest as possible, only external shape and simple shape should be used. Vendor should avoid using complex shape like spring or torus. Small detail like bolt or identification plate should be removed from the model. (See APPENDIX 1: Level Of Detail and APPENDIX 2: Level Of Information)
The model should be divided by Discipline
Piping (Support, Valve…)
Structure
Civil
Instrumentation
Electrical
The information provided should be According to (RLNG-000-PM-PP-2104-Functional Requirement Specification) and specification provided by discipline.
5.2
IFC files
It is possible to import IFC 2x3 files into overall S3D model.
Maximum allowed file size in S3D is 50MB (Remark: size is limited to 50MB: VENDOR shall be instructed to optimize & reduce 3D Model as much as possible).
Over this size, Import of IFC file is not possible.
Consequently, the files size must not exceed this limit. VENDOR can scatter the 3D model file in several files to reduce the size of each submitted file.
The VENDOR shall adjust the level of details of VENDOR 3D as per CONTRACTOR needs to reduce the size of IFC file.
In addition to the CAD submittals, the VENDOR shall submit the Model at LOD 300/350/400/500. It’s the granularities of the geometric representation of the digital models and the good description of data and properties (LOI), included for an object in the model at the various stages of design and operation. Files must be split and organized by area and by disciplines.
The terms of Contract / Agreement No: CON22-146 shall apply for any disclosure of this document to any third party.

VENDOR is requested to mandatory generate some Navisworks files (.nwd) at each release of 3D Model native files. These files shall have the same LOD as the IFC.
The Navisworks files shall be compatible with Navisworks 2023.
Maximum allowed file size in S3D is 50MB (Remark: size is limited to 50MB: VENDOR shall be instructed to optimize & reduce 3D Model as much as possible.).
Over this size, import of .nwd file is not possible.
VENDOR shall provide the files for the same content in two formats, .nwd.

DATA EXCHANGE
VENDOR shall use the interface of Platform Autodesk Construction Cloud (ex BIM 360) for exchange all 3D models, to deposit and/or retrieve the 3D Models, in a dedicated space for him.
As a result, all native files (.IFC, .NWD) generated by VENDOR shall be compatible with Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360).
Platform access will be provided by CONTRACTOR.
Note: Each Operating Center (OC) will be responsible for managing their respective Vendor models with the rules define by the Host.
