ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS SOME DRAINS/VENTS COULD BE COMBINED UPSTREAM CHECK VALVE AND POSITIVE ISOLATION (PRESSURE, SERVICE, MAINTENANCE SEQUENCE COMPATIBILITY REVIEW).

ALL HAZARDOUS SERVICES (INCLUDING HYDROCARBONS, EXCLUDING CHEMICAL) VENT TO FLARE AND DRAIN TO A CLOSED DRAIN SYSTEM. ALL DRAINS SHALL BE HARDPIPED TO FLARE HEADER OR DRAIN HEADER.

DISTANCE 600MM MIN IS ONLY REQUIRED IN CASE OF COLD DEPRESSURIZATION TO AVOID ICING OF THE BLOCK VALVE.

POSITIVE ISOLATION TO BE SELECTED AS PER TABLE ON RLNG-000-PR-PID-0011 DEPENDING ON SERVICE AND LINE SIZE DIAMETER.

REQUIREMENT FOR CAVITY VENTING ON BLOCK VALVES TO BE CONSIDERED AS PER ISOLATION PHILOSOPHY RLNG-000-PR-PP-003.
