Vendor shall supply Emergency Signs and Pictograms suitable for Safety Shower and Eyewash Units.

For Site conditions, refer to Basic Engineering Design Data (BEDD), Doc no. 4439-YZ-SG-000000001.

For Hazardous Area Classification, Refer Table on next page.

Safety Shower shall be self-draining type to ensure no water is left in the standpipe to eliminate stagnant water overheating in standpipe.
-
Thermostatic Valve will bypass water to drain, if inlet Water temperature increases beyond 38 °C.
-
Safety Shower and Eyewash unit will be provided with one common Flow switch. Flow switch terminals shall be terminated in Safety Shower Junction box.
Flow switch through Junction box will be connected to Fire & Gas system (FGS).
-
On operating safety shower or eyewash, flow switch will send alarm signal to FGS system. FGS will activate horn and beacon mounted on safety shower.
Horn and Beaon for Outdoor Safety shower shall be suitable environment temperature. Otherwise sun shade shall be provided for Instrument units.

Junction Box shall be Exd, IP 66 rated and as per requirements of Junction Box specification (4439-KK-SE-362001001).

Safety Shower will be connected to Potable Water Network and Insulated piping.

Final quantity to be considered as per Material Requisition

Vendor to provide heating device to maintain inlet water temperature within indicated range.

Vendor to provide Outdoor Safety shower / Eye wahs unit inside a enclosed booth. The booth shall have a heating system to maintain the booth temperature at a minimum 70 oF (21 oC). Vendor shall provide light inside enclosed booth suitable for 230 VAC, white colour, Lux ( ).
Heating device shall be suitable for 230VAC supply voltage.
